“A common misconception, Miss Brown. Time Travel was in fact invented in 1895.” “The difference was, nobody was supposed to know about it.”
It is said that Nikola Tesla, the greatest mind the world has never heard of, conducted experiments at his infamous Wardenclyffe Laboratory that opened a doorway in time. Struck by 3.5 million volts of electricity, Tesla was momentarily transported out of the time-space continuum and was aware of the Past, Present, and Future . . . all at once.
His claim was discredited, and his assets confiscated by the FBI after his death in 1943. Nikola Tesla drowned in the shadows of history, and the Wardenclyffe experiments faded into obscure rumor and the twittering of conspiracy theorists.
Or did they?
Arriving on Long Island in 1895, The Doctor, Peri, and Frobisher discover that Tesla’s experiments did not regress into anonymity as history intended, but that the government of the United States of America possess the first rudimentary mode of Time Travel!
Dogged by agents of the FBI and embroiled in the muted ravings of Tesla’s ever-deteriorating psyche, The Doctor and his companions must find the reason behind the wrinkle in time, and set history back on its predetermined course before the entire causality of the universe is destroyed!
Good to hear. I've got a half-written Six and Peri meet Doc Brown and Marty BTTF crossover I should really finish one of these days, and at one point I had a crossover with Animorphs in mind for Six and Frobisher. Good luck anyway!
Both that cover, and that blurb are fantastic! Totally gripping. Where can I read it?
Literally, do you have a link to the story? (Please tell me it's written, it sounds too good not to be. At first, I thought this was a Big Finish story!) Link please!
